WHY YOU SHOULD “SHOW UP” FOR YOUR SMALL BUSINESS MARKETING

Who else gets embarrassed to show their face on social media? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Well I’m here to give you the advice that I gave myself & my clients: Get over it.

Showing up on your social media is important to build trust. It humanizes your brand and helps your brand engage in conversation with your ideal community.

Social media is called SOCIAL media for a reason after all, and engagement is the key to success!

But Carrie, big brands with 2+ million followers don’t go around with the CEO “showing up” every day. Well small business marketing is different than big brands with years of commercially successful street cred! If you stumble across a website and are interested in a product but have NEVER heard of the brand, chances are you check its socials and if there are any reviews, right? You’ve gotta build that trust! If you have no social thumbprint and no one has heard of you, they may not deem your brand trustworthy enough to make the purchase!

In short: Show up! Show your face 😜

Here are some ideas for how to show up on your IG:
•behind the scenes (product creation, photoshoot, how to make something you sell)
•participating in trending audios making the trend relevant to your niche
•taking people through a day in the life at your business
•office tour
•share your biz tasks for the day
•coffee/lunch break
•outfit of the day
